He Is With Me...

Riding the wind,
With God by my side,
I may stumble,
But my step does not falter.
He has given me stability.

See a new world,
Through enlightened eyes.
The world of shadow,
Cast into light.
He has given me sight.

I’m not alone,
Although I feel loneliness.
I need no human company,
Or cravings of a momentary promise.
He has given me strength.

Fighting the battle,
Of the evils that encompasses humanity.
For He is with me,
And His promise breathes life into my soul.
He has given me worth.

I am a soldier of His grace,
And a messenger of His word.
I do not stand alone.
He is with me.
