My Bestie - A Story.

Once upon a time, there was Prince Charming. He rode gallantly across the vast open spaces, riding from one place to another atop his noble stead, Little Bucket. And in each new land, he conquered the women with his charm and mighty sword, whilst slewing his opposers in an elegant yet swift attack. His story became legend, and when he walked, the crowd would part like the Red Sea and the many bystanders gawked at him with admiration and fear. Prince Charming rode on, conquering many women - and lands, stopping only briefly to refuel Little Bucket and take up a few games of Dirt Ball along the way.

Years passed and some things were different, most were the same. Then Prince Charming spied some Big Eyed Hussy staking her claim in his recently conquered land. Somewhat bored of the selection - having already conquered each woman thrice over - he decided to befriend BEH [thats Big Eyed Hussy]. Prince Charming proceeded to regale BEH with tid-bits, smoothing his speech with warm honey and milk. However BEH, almost falling under his spell, awoke suddenly and though apologetically, begged forgiveness as she was a Spoken-For Big Eyed Hussy.

Prince Charming took the news well. And slowly, both he and SFBEH reached a repoirte where all things could be discussed, ideas thoughts and dreams were analyzed and all manner of jokes and mockery were delighted in.

Drama, of course, insued, due to the jealousy of SFBEH's partner, Dark Knight. So much so, that to avoid further conflict, SFBEH requested Prince Charming that they discontinue their friendship to which he complied. Then in secret it re-continued. Then discontinued. Then re-continued. Then discontinued. And then happily, re-continued.

SFBEH - now back to being BEH - so, BEH's friendship with Prince Charming would be, as some would say, a strange one. Having met due to strange circumstances - Yester-net + land conquering + his charm, and the obstacle - Dark Knight, she had no doubt in her mind that this was someone special. And no matter how much he tried, she was determined to keep a good tight grid locked grip on him so he couldn't go too far.

This is a story more than love. But enduring love and friendship. And the love of real friendship. Some would try to misconstrue all that is said, twisting it into something it is not. They're the people who've never loved their friends.

I'm indebted to him. I'm grateful to him. I'm glad I met him.

And that's the really badly abridged story of Prince Charming and Big Eyed Hussy.
